| Description | Launching event of Tawasul – Sablat Oman Shura Elections Website. Tawasul have partnered with Sablat Oman, the biggest online forum in the Sultanate with quarter of a million members, on the design, implementation and content management of the Majlis A`Shura Elections 2011 website. The website contains relevant information about the Basic Statutes, elections regulations, Majlis Oman and the importance of Civic Participation. Also links to electoral information and relevant institutions like the Ministry of Interior. It also features social media tools and applications, and a platform where voters can interact and debate with candidates. A special section features “why women” highlighting the importance and value of a truly representative and balanced legislative parliament. |
